Anyone who uses Windows probably has 7-zip or WinRar installed, right? I wanted to alert you to the incompatibility of certain zip file compression methods.
To compress .zip files, there are the following compression methods: Deflate, Deflate64, BZip2, LZMA and PPMd. The native Windows file manager cannot handle files compressed with BZip2, LZMA and PPMd. So if you want to use compressed zip files, use Deflate or Deflate64, which will be more compatible not only with the Windows file manager, but also with other systems, especially Deflate, which is the oldest of them all.
Then, if you want greater compression, you can use 7z files and, for greater compatibility, zip files. Thanks for reading.
